Stefan Rüegg takes over as Head of the Zurich office from Andreas Burgherr. Silvan Winterberg, who has headed the Lucerne office since May 2024, has been succeeded by Simon Hess as Head of the Zurich office.
New year, new head of office: Stefan Rüegg takes over from Andreas Burgherr. Handover at the office location in Zurich. These organizational changes have set the course for the company's future development. Welcome 2025, welcome future!
Timbatec Holzbauingenieure Schweiz AG in Zurich has started the year with a forward-looking organizational change. Stefan Rüegg has taken over as site manager from Andreas Burgherr. The Timbatec family continues to grow: under the management of Silvan Winterberg, the new office location in Lucerne was opened last May 2024. Simon Hess has joined the Zurich site management team as his successor. Andreas Burgherr will continue to contribute his skills to the Zurich site management, but will focus more on his role as Chairman of the Management Board of Timbatec Schweiz AG and Timbatec International AG and on the development of the group of companies.
Stefan: "I am delighted to welcome Simon Hess to the Zurich site management team and look forward to the new challenge that comes with the position of CEO. I would like to thank Andreas Burgherr and the Timbatec management for the trust they have placed in me."
Simon:"I am looking forward to taking on responsibility as a member of the Zurich site management team and heading up the HR department. My aim is to maintain a familiar and inspiring working environment despite the growth. We promote this through regular exchanges in interdisciplinary teams, a lively break culture, a mix of professionals and informal events such as the "Wednesday Fyrabigbier". I am particularly impressed by the commitment of our employees, who strengthen the team spirit with numerous initiatives."
Andreas: "Healthy things grow, growth leads to changes, changes are challenging, challenges require trust - but trust is a basis on which healthy things can grow.
I am delighted that Stefan Rüegg and Simon Hess have allowed themselves to be challenged.
Thank you for your trust and your willingness to face the challenges that growth and change bring and to work together to maintain our basis on which healthy things (team spirit, office culture, enjoyment of work) can continue to grow."
